Hello, my name is Jeremiah and I am new to this forum. I have been looking through this forum for the past couple of days and wow, there is a lot of information! I am a pretty small time investor with just a couple of single family residences, but am looking to move on to one of those small complexes 6-10 units. I have read quite a few books on real estate investing, but funding continues to be the issue. It is really hard to save up the 20% for the down payments, since I do not "flip" the houses hard money lenders are definitely not an option. Ive talked to lenders about the 203k loans and both the lenders and contractors run screaming away from those. Well that's a little background on what I have going. Im always interested in learning more and do have some knowledge to share.
