Jefferson County Alabama Tax Auction: Birmingham Division

DEADLINE TO REGISTER FOR BIRMINGHAM TAX AUCTION: You cannot download a registration packet for the Jefferson County, Alabama (Birmingham Division) tax sale auction. Birmingham is still selling tax certificates, and has not switched to the tax lien system used for the first time this year in Shelby and Baldwin counties, plus a few others. 

You must get a physical copy of the registration form. It is not available online.  Complete the form, have your signature notarized, and return it to them by Friday May 31. You might have as late as Monday June 3. I'll know that answer, for sure, later today.  You cannot register on the morning of the auction.  If you are interested in bidding, please register.
