Anyone with vacation rental exp. in Puerto Rico or Costa Rica?

Hi, we are considering buying a vacation rental condo near the beach in possibly the Cabo Rojo area, the Caribbean side of Puerto Rico. My husband wants to be near reasonably priced golf, and they seem to have a nice beach, an abundance of reasonably priced condos, and it's a safe and desirable area.

The other area we are considering is the Coco Beach area in Costa Rica, for the same reasons. We may be leaning towards Costa Rica, the costs seem to be less there, but we are visiting in November to decide. We would probably visit our choice for a couple of months in the winter, and rent it out whenever we could other times.

Anyone have any feedback for us? It would be really appreciated. Thanks.
