Nicaragua real estate possible to finance?
We are Canadians. We have decided to not invest here currently. My wife and I desire to retire in Nicaragua for a number of reasons. But currently, We would like to invest there and do something kind of unconventional. We are considering buying a small beach resort. We would like to live there with our family for at least a year and use it for STR to get started. We would rent out our current home in Canada( very tiny mortgage left on it) for a year. We would like to "plant a flag" in the U.S. (Florida) open a US bank account and wondering if it would be possible to get a U.S mortgage for this.
