Process Question - Automated Messaging and Door Locks

Hi - we will be getting our first guests in a couple days. We are using SmartBnb for automated messaging and an electronic deadbolt for access. We also have a mechanical lock box should the electronic deadbolt fail for whatever reason. Do you suggest providing the code for both in the check-in instructions or to call with any issues accessing the property via the electronic keypad?

Also, how early prior to check-in do you provide the code?
