hot tub recommendations

For those who have bought a hot tub to upgrade their STR, what brand do you recommend and how much do you spend? Also if there are any necessary accessories I should be aware of, or general maintenance/upkeep tips, let me know. Thanks in advance!

Don't go over size. Smaller rather than bigger. Don't get extra pumps and bells and whistles not nessary and they get broken. If you are on a well think twice. If you are on city water you should be OK. Do your due diligence on maintenance cost and time, tubs dont take care of themselves. I have a couple of Artic Spas. One I have had for 10years the other is 1year old new. Artic Spa has a unique natural cedar cabinet. Quick coat of stain every two years keeps it looking brand new. 10year old tub looks just as good as the new one. Tubs with plastic cabinets can quickly get trashed and in my opinion look cheap. Note: some brands of tubs have a cheap 110v tub. Most tubs are 240v. Recommend 240v only. 110v tubs work way to hard and will make a dent in your electric bill. 240v are way more efficient.
