Tenant of 3 months called me at 9:30 pm and said someone had broken a window in the house while she was in there.  I told her to call the police, she already had.  She and her husband were going to stay with her mom and dad, who were also renting a place from me a few blocks away.  P.D. called me this morning.  We went through the house.  Nothing was stolen, and it did not appear that anyone had entered.

Other than fixing the window (which I'm in the process of doing), what else can be done?  I'm thinking about putting up some fixed area lighting.  It's $12 a month, and the city puts a halogen light on a utility pole and shines it on the house at night.
