If you are only given one question you can ask a short-term vacation rental cleaning company you are interviewing for hire, what would it be?  I'm conducting interviews, and want to make sure I cover my bases.

Like Paul said, references are great and an amazing way to actually talk to current customers. 

To add a new one, I'd say "send me links to the airbnb profiles of 6 or 8 properties you currently clean." See what the guests think about their work
