Branson STR information, Newbie

I am looking for any information that anyone in the Branson area would be willing to give on STR's

How are occupancy rates affected with COVID-19?

What kind of demographic seems to rent in Branson? Families, singles, elderly couples, ....etc.

Anyone actively doing STR's in Branson?

Do you self manage or are you doing it long distance?

What is considered the tourist season for Branson?

Any other insight would be greatly appreciated.

Me and my wife are actively exploring the STR world and Branson is our first pick for starting out. We know it seems to be an up and coming version of Pigeon Forge with a lot of the same investments in shows and other commercial ideas as there. Plus with Table Rock lake it offers water sports as well.
