Hawaii Stepping Up STR Enforcement

I have not seen too much conversation about Hawaii and STR here lately but I thought I would share this anyways:

Airbnb will remove any short-term rentals on Kauaʻi from its platform if hosts are not operating within the parameters set by county.

Airbnb will start asking for parcel tax IDs to verify with the county to ensure rentals are in the correct locations.

I've been living on Oahu for the past few years and it seems like they're continuing to step up regulation and enforcement of STRs throughout the islands.
