Insurance for a short term rental , that is part of my house
I have a legal ADU that is part of my house in Seattle. I plan to rent it through a Vacation Rental company. What is the recommendation for insurance to cover both the unit and my house best. I am trying to protect against an accident for a guest, and a major catastrophic event (like accidental fire from a guest)
thanks!

The vetted insurance brokers that I use have without hesitation and without giving an inch have advised that any short-term rental will require a commercial policy. Just does, just is...better safe than not.
