I'm looking into buying my first STR. I have been looking at Branson MO. I am looking at other towns also. Would like to meet and talk to people who are in STR right now.

Hey @Trevor Howell welcome!  From everything I know Branson is a great market, there's a few people on the forum who invest there.  I am not one of them, but my understanding is it has a lot of the same appeal as my market of Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg in Tennessee.

What @Mark Miles said is dead on, the South is where it's at!  I sat in a ton of traffic in Gatlinburg earlier today, the place is so thick with tourists, LOL, you'd think there was never a slowdown.  The season in the Tennessee Smokies is March-December, with it slowing down somewhat in January-February but there's still people booking.

There's some great resources on the forum here, spend some time reading a bunch of threads or searching for specific terms and you'll learn a ton - and once you've got your feet under you, feel free to hit us up with your questions!
