VRBO/Homeaway No Pay-out January 2020

Jeffery Minnich
Posted

I have been a host with VRBO since 2014 and have been quite pleased with the prompt payment and service. Unfortunately, the past 12 months have been both frustrating an stressful. I am currently experiencing issues with VRBO/Homeaway paying me for guests who have stayed and received their security deposits. I have not been paid since 12/26/2019 meaning VRBO is in receipt of $5,000.00 owed me for the entire month of January, 2020. I have contacted VRBO customer service with no resolution. I have requested escalation of my problem to senior management or a decision maker at VRBO/Homeaway to no avail.

Any suggestions on how to escalate my problem reaching someone in-charge at VRBO/Homeaway?

If this is how a 'super host' with a 5 star rating is suppose to be treated? I can't help but wonder how my guests or potential guests are treated by this organization when reaching out to customer service. Seems to me they have grown way to fast to soon and are maximizing their surcharge / credit processing fees as a priority.

I sincerely doubt it's possible for a customer to reach "senior management" through the call center. Suggest you post on a VRBO forum not a RE investing forum.
