State Appeals Court Strikes Down Austin Rules On STR’s

Hello fellow BP members!

Does anyone know the rules now in Austin, TX regarding STR's? Before this ruling they were not issuing type 2 permits. Is it back in play now? Do you have to find a correctly zoned unit? I would like to hear everyone's feedback. Thanks in advance!

Replied

The city of Austin’s rule banning type 2 rentals was ruled “unconstitutional retroactively”, uninhabited other rules being overturned as well.  That is beautiful news! :)
