Short Term Rental AirBNB - Lima Peru - Expat - International

Posted

Dear BP community,

I am an American expatriate living in Lima, Peru. I have been trying to learn as much as I can about getting started with short term (Airbnb) real estate investments. At this point, I am seeking to finance my first property as a learning opportunity - something that will teach me the ropes and hopefully evolve into managing more properties.

I'd like to hear from others about their experiences investing internationally. I developed a plan that is outlined in the document below.

What details do you think I am missing? This is all new to me, and I would appreciate feedback from anyone directly or somewhat related to these goals.

Many thanks,
