STR in CT/MA/RI area - possibly Mystic CT

Hi All,

Some friends and I are looking to purchase a STR property somewhere fairly close to home (northeast CT). We were thinking that the Mystic area might be good due to its proximity to the Casinos, aquarium, beaches. I have checked on some of the rentals on vrbo and it seems like they are booking at a pretty good rate. Does anyone have any experience doing short term rentals in that area? Or are there other locations relatively close by that would be a better place to look?
