I’m looking into buying a investment property and will be doing Airbnb. Any recommendations on location and maybe experienced people?

Count all the costs. What are the taxes? Does the state, county, or city require inspections or add other expenses? What will it cost ot furnish? Lawncare? What will utilities run year-round? Will you include TV, internet, phone? How will you advertise the home, accept reservations, and take payments? Who will handle inspections, cleaning, checking guests in, etc?

People put out really impressive numbers with vacation rentals but they don't tell the whole story about the costs associated with it. Be honest with yourself.
