Looking for Short Term Rental/ Orlando Area
Hello,
I'm new to BP and I'm looking for a STR in the Orlando area. I started the research process, but it's very overwhelming. I know that Orlando brings in between 60-100 million visitors a year and I would like to VRBO or Airbnb the property while I am not using it. I travel to Orlando every 3 months and stay for a couple of days since I live in Miami. I have a property manager (my wife who is also a realtor in Florida - we are in miami) but we are open to using a PM in Orlando and obviously a realtor. I've heard of Windsor, Reunion, Festival, etc, but I'm curious if anyone has done a proforma or has an excel sheet that they can share with a newbie like myself. Budget is between $300-$500 k financed. Not interested in Tampa or any other surrounding neighborhoods, would want it near the attractions.
I've heard that +6 rooms homes are in high demand, but cant seem to find any research to support this. What communities allow STR?
thanks,
Gabriel
