Creating Welcome Baskets

Hello! I am purchasing a vacation STR in another state. I'd like to be able to do a "value add" of having a Welcome Basket to greet my guests, but I'm trying to figure out how to make sure it will go smoothly as I can't be there to create it each time. I am going to be targeting families for my rental, so it should definitely have items that appeal to children. Not sure how to offer "fresh" items like milk or bakery muffins if I can't have them in a supply closet for the maids to put out after a cleaning...

I am putting a Keurig in and planning to offer a variety of coffee, tea, and hot cocoa pods and some shelf-stable half and half or creamers. I was thinking of putting in some other snacks like microwave popcorn, cookies, chocolate...but, I would love to hear ideas from those that have been offering such items to their guests. Thanks!
