Alternative to Airbnb in NYC

Seems there a new service similar to Airbnb in NYC for short term rentals, however with no over night occupancy - Airbnb for Residential Event Space.

People can rent out their homes for the evening to host small events and dinner parties....

I think it offers an alternative to those that can not do Airbnb. To Airbnb your entire place means finding somewhere else to sleep or go on holiday which isn't always an option.

SpiceRaQ offers a revenue to those who could simply be staying late at work. A lot more passive than Airbnb. Early days though...
