Does anyone have experience using VA's as part of the inquiry/booking process? It's important they are articulate and proficient in English so I'm expecting to pay significantly more than someone off-shore.

What about using an offshore VA from the philippines? I have hired several for phone and email customer support in another venture and found they speak and write very fluently in English. You can use odesk and probably dozens of people will apply and you can choose the person with the best reviews and the most reasonable price.
