What are some of the biggest differences between an urban STR and vacation market STR

Starting to consider whether to convert one of my LTRs to an STR. I'm already familiar with some of the basics of how the markets differ, but I'd be curious to hear what some of you have experienced in regard to any unexpected differences between them.  I've got 7 months before the lease is up, so no is the time to research and think it through

Hey @Tom Dieringer, there is a ton and at the same time, not much at all.

It really depends on the market you are in. If you have a place in Nashville, it could be either and both.

The larger the place, the more you are likely to cater to families. Small places are for couples. Both could be vacationers or business travelers or anything else.

No matter what you quantify your STR is, you need to fully furnish it well, have plenty of amenities etc etc.
