Air-DNA vs raw airbnb data in an Excel?
Hey everyone,
I've noticed some investors doing their market research the old fashioned way, manually going through Airbnb / Vrbo listings and jotting down data in Excel sheets.I'm facing a bit of a dilemma here. Should I put my trust in sophisticated tools like Air-DNA, or keep it simple with Excel and Airbnb data?
What would you go for?
1) Air-DNA; either premium version or free trial.
2) An Excel spreadsheet that contains all the raw data from Airbnb for all the listings within a city (just like if someone collected the data manually for each listing).
3) Other software/app.
Appreciate your thoughts on this!
Best,
Emily
