Where is the best air bnb spot in Cleveland?

Hi, I am a realtor here in Cleveland and recently started working with a client looking for Air bnbs. Where are the best neighborhoods/cities for Air bnbs? They are wanting to stay under 150 and put a little work into the house, maybe a little more depending on the deal.

    Hey Edward,

Neighborhoods like Ohio City, Tremont, Detroit Shoreway, University Circle, and Lakewood offer cool spots for potential Airbnb homes under $150K.

They've got charm, attractions, and might need a bit of tender love and care. Let me know if you have any question's about financing. Utilizing AirDNA data can be tricky

I'd agree with Alex, areas like Lakewood and areas close to Edgewater Park. Properties that are in the B class or higher on the west side of Cleveland are more desirable, I would say.

Reach out to Dave Stokley or Bernie Cesareo as they know Cleveland well!

Interesting post. I never thought of Cleveland as a great place to do a STR, but there are some folks like Dave that knows the area well.

Maybe down on the lake. I know there are pockets of restrictions here and there.

Hi, I own a quad in Ohio City and run an STR in one of the units. AirDNA will give you good stats, and my experience in the 5 months I've run the STR is good. I'm also looking at another property under $150k for STR, you won't find that in Tremont but Clark-Fulton close to metro, border of Ohio City and Tremont would be a good bet. In Ohio City though? Maybe. I know that other STR experts in the area think Ohio City is over saturated, generally. Best of luck!

Clark-Fulton close to Metro is still on the rougher side and a bit of ways away from being a STR location. It may change in the next 5-10yrs but I wouldn't invest for STR there today. LTR without a question.
