holiday season strategies with airbnb?

I have several properties to book this holiday season and I like the idea of decorating them to offer guests a Christmas atmosphere inside.

What other ideas have you implemented for this?

I think this is great, although we do not do it.  With 80 or so properties it would be a huge undertaking.  I have rented mountain cabins during Holiday season in the past and did enjoy having them decorated.  However, I have also rented cabins for my birthday and sometimes they were still decorated.  Make sure you have a plan to have it taken out early Jan!

I think guests would love it if you can logistically pull it off, but also be sensitive if they do not celebrate Christmas.

Hey @Estrella Carolina Mckinney. So we decorate our lake house for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

I just got back from taking my son back to school then going to the lakehouse to de-decorate from Thanksgiving.

You don't  need to spend a ton of dough on decorations. It is amazing what you can find for free on Craigslist. Plus the dollar stores usually have a wide selection of cheap decorations that don't look terrible. Yes there are some, but there is still a lot to grab.

We have an artificial tree we put up and decorate, lots of garlands, signs etc. We don't go overboard, but it looks pretty festive.

I also leave out a few rolls of wrapping paper and tape for those that need to wrap gifts last minute.

Right now we don't have a booking for Christmas to it was put back to standard, but if someone decides to book it, I will head over and bust 'em out!
