STR Homeowners insurance help

Alisha Kawaguchi
Posted

Hi! New here. About to close on my first STR in Charlotte North Carolina. Having a hard time finding an insurance company that will give me a homeowners insurance policy on an STR. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Proper Insurance is the absolute best but can be more expensive since they cover a bunch of things other companies don't. Foremost and Erie are other options for STR and there is Steadily also. Although you did need to read the fine print of Steadily's policy, since many times they say it's for a STR but in the fine print it's just a typical dwelling policy for a LTR. Hope that helps!
