Any DSCR providers willing to consider Canadian rental experience?
I'm looking to get into STRs and have a LTR portfolio in Canada since 2012 (SFH and triplex). I've lived in Florida since 2014 and we recently acquired another SFH investment property here and have been renting it out the last 6 months. Wondering if I can get my Canadian experience considered to help with eligibility. Although I understand the loan is primarily based on the asset metrics, I also heard they prefer experienced investors (which I am if they'll look at my Canadian experience)

You don't need experience to qualify with a DSCR loan. At most I would expect a leverage reduction of 5% from max LTV. I would reach out to any of the BP recommended DSCR lenders and explain your situation and see what they can offer.
