Short term rentals in Sebago Maine area?
Hi all - newbie here! My husband and I are based in Boston and have been looking into buying a STR property in some areas of NH, as well as Maine. I have loosely started to look around the Sebago Lake area (Sebago, Raymond, Naples, etc.) but wondering if those areas have decent occupancy rates. The appeal of many areas of NH is that it has high occupancy year-round while my fear for Sebago area is that it's mainly going to be a summer thing... Any insight is appreciated!

@Laura Van Lenten many investors around the ME lakes there rent their homes monthly in the off-season and do a decent job of at least covering their PITI with those funds. If you buy a STR around some of the mountains (Sugarloaf, Sunday River, Saddelback) then you get a good balance of occupancy in all seasons with skiing in the winter, leaf peeping in the Fall and hiking/camping/fishing in the summer. Shoot me a dm if you want to discuss further!
