Plumbing disaster on new listing. Should I relist?
Hi all,
Right before the check in of my first Airbnb guest, a big cold front came in and froze our septic line.
I can't get a company to come out to do it until 2 weeks from now, I'll need to have Airbnb's help to cancel my upcoming bookings.
What do you all think? Keep the listing going and have Airbnb cancel my near term bookings? Or just relist the property after the repairs are completed?
Given this is a brand new listing, I fear I'm losing out on my initial ratings and important stats to grab for a new listing to have a good ranking.
I only have 2 bookings that are beyond this two week repair period I would need to cancel if I decided to relist.
Thank you!
