SFR or Duplex in Jersey Shore?

Looking to invest in Wildwood. I have been looking at comps for Single Family (3-4 bedroom). Based on the numbers, does it make sense that I can potentially double those numbers with a duplex with same comparisons? Also, does distance from the beach make that much of a difference, other than ANR? I have been looking at other markets where I know a duplex would not suit well in that town. Open to all feedback. Appreciate it.
