Door Lock Recommendations for Sliding Glass Door as Main Entrance

David Truong
Posted

Hi all,

I'm trying to see if anyone on here has sliding glass doors as their main entrance to their short term rental property. If so, what are you using as your smart lock/keyless door lock? A Schlage Encode wouldn't fit on this so looking for recommendations! I already considered adding door to this property but it doesn't look feasible.

Hmmm, those are always a security issue. Not that hard to change one of them out to a double entry door with an astragal in the middle, probably cost you $1700 or so for a basic (non-fancy) door. Would make the house look a lot better too....
