How can I get a full refund?
I booked a home in Florida via Vrbo when I got there at midnight there was cars parked there so I knocked just to make sure and a woman opened the door and she said she booked the home the same weekend as me except she booked for more days. Since it was already midnight I just messaged the host & didn’t get a reply til like 2-3 days later ( Btw I had to get 3 hotels for my family) I paid a total of $1,608 but the host said they can only refund $1,195 how can I get a full refund it’s not my fault they doble booked

Call VRBO and lodge a big complaint. This host should get a huge slap on the wrist for this stunt. VRBO is better than AIR, but you will need to be persistent.
If the reservation wasn't cancelled (sounds like it wasn't) then you will have the opportunity to leave a review. Be honest and state what happened, and leave 1 star.
