LLC and Airbnb question
Background: I own a house with a studio on it that isn’t attached to the house.
Question: can I get an LLC on the studio only to airbnb it out without risking my home as an asset?

What I think you are asking about and looking for is protection in case of a lawsuit? Starting a LLC isn't going to help you on that since the studio is still located on your property. You would have to subdivide the property with the county in order for the LLC to own that piece of land. I'm guessing that isn't going to be worth your time. You are just better off paying for a good amount more of insurance to protect you. My 2 cents.
