DuPage County IL Combo Vacation/Short-Term Rental advice

I live in Texas and I'm from Illinois and would like to buy a summer home in IL. The weather is so much better than Texas during the summer and there is just so much to do outdoors. Ideally I would like to be able to stay in it for about 2 to 3 months in the summer and potentially Airbnb or short-term corporate lease it for the remainder of the year. I wanted to get some good recommendations of areas in maybe DuPage county that could satisfy that requirement. I know some towns have strict ordinances where they prevent Airbnbs so I want to avoid those. I would like some place where I can easily hop on a commuter train or access the expressway to get to downtown Chicago. I'm open to places outside of DuPage as well.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
