I'm currently working on a couple long term multifamily BRRR's and 2 STR townhome builds, but looking for other options: specifically out of country STR opportunities. What I am interested in is getting some insight into risk/reward for international investing, what concerns I should be addressing, what are the biggest issues tax/lending/renting you've run into so far. International investing isn't one size fits all. The risks/rewards and the concerns and issues can be very different depending on what you invest in and where.

It's difficult to answer broad questions like that and even more so when we don't know what your objectives are.

What you could do is be clear on your objective. Is it ROI? Diversification? If it is ROI, determine what your hurdle rate and that might give you an indication about locations and then you can dig deeper and ask more precise questions for people who invest or have invested in there to reply.
