Short Term Rental - LA City Regulations

Hello! I'm trying to look for info about LA city regulations when it comes to STRs/ Airbnb-ing in LA. I know in 2019 LA passed a Short Term Rental Ordinance (CF14-1635-S2) saying you need 3 things – 1. That it must be your primary residence, 2. It must not be located in a rent-controlled area & 3. You must get written consent from the landlord (if you are not the landlord.)

My confusion is – If I own a triplex or duplex in LA, & I'm living in one unit & I want to STR the other units out, then does it count as my primary residence? / Am I able to rent on Airbnb still? Any help would be great. Thank you!
