STR insurance/windstorm policy question

I am trying to find STR insurance coverage for 2 garage apartment units that I would like to use as STRs full-time and my house that I would like to use as a STR when out of town for work (maybe half the year). All 3 units on same parcel in Houston. Proper Insurance says they can insure my property in this scenario, but suggests I find my own windstorm policy as theirs is commercial and over $8k/yr. No luck yet in my search for a separate windstorm policy. Has anyone encountered this before?
