Building in Joshua Tree

Prasun Prakash
Posted

Hello All,

I'm new to real estate investing. I had a question around building a short term rental. I have property in Joshua Tree and would like to build a place. My plan is to build a pre-fab and use is as a short term rental. Curious if anyone has any experience in building out short term rentals and if anyone has built in Joshua Tree. So far I have an idea of what I want to build and reached out to some architects to help me work through the process.

Thanks in advance,

Prasun

Heads up....Market has been slowing down last couple of months... Look into this before making anymore decisions. I'm building there and own land, so I have a good pulse on what the market is doing. Could be a short-term thing because of the recent rate hikes etc.. People are having less bang to their buck. Just Be cautious. Know your numbers and your financials is all.
