I’ve been searching for a sfh from destin to Panama City beach and some says “no str” on Zillow. How do I know of areas that does allow “str” Ive had some realtors helping me, but they only seems to try and sell me beach front condos. Any realtor want to help me out? I’m open to long term rental as well. Budget is 600k. Looking to buy in march2022 thx

Hey Young, I recommend getting setup on a search with a realtor who knows the areas that do allow it. But typically anything south of Hwy 98 in Destin & Panama City Beach with a few exceptions to some neighborhoods that don't allow it. Anything north of 98 is typically non-str.

Depending on price points , I'd recommend the smaller non-high rise condos & SFH a few blocks from the beach ( walking distance or golf cart distance)

Best of luck!
