STR in California Central Coast?

Victor Lopez
Posted

Hey everyone -

Looking at buying a second home in the central coast area of California (Paso Robles, Morro Bay, Pismo Beach), thinking of a wine country type property. I know a lot of these places have STR restrictions, but wondering if there are any realtors or investors who are active in the area? I'm trying to get more information on whether the unincorporated regions of the county has similar restrictions. A lot of listing on VRBO/AirBNB but of course doesn't mean they're all legal.

The idea would be to use it primarily as a STR but also use it for personal use when available.
