About the Speakers

Steve is an Australian entrepreneur and property investor. His Australian Home Improvement business IPO'ed on the ASX with a market capitalization of $315 Million and he moved his family to New Orleans and founded Home Buyer Louisiana His business acquires distressed properties direct from homeowners to flip, rent and wholesale. He has a rental portfolio spanning 3 states in Australia as well as Louisiana. His favorite strategy is the BRRRR method and he has aggressive goals to continuously expand his rental portfolio.

Kristen Kennedy Van Court (https://www.essentiallivingrealty.com/)

Kristen is local Broker and Real Estate Developer. Over the past several years she consistently produced Millions of dollars in sales across South East Louisiana region while growing an impressive development portfolio and attracting private capital. We are excited to hear her perspective on managing a growing brokerage, scaling development operations and her unique approach to raising capital

About the Host

Emile Hurst Jr. is born and raised in NOLA and is a St. Augustine High School & Tulane University Graduate. He has been in the the local real estate market since 2010 and as an investor and most recently Joint Ventured with Turner Property Group to offer acquire and manage multi-family portfolios 16+ units. He is a student of life always ready to learn and constantly seeking improvements in all endeavors. In his role as host he will seek to deep dive with the speakers to pull out learnings that he and the attendees will be action in our market.

Our speakers aren't selling anything and neither are the organizers. We just want to get the West Bank property investing community networking and talking as we believe that will benefit everyone.
