@Jordan Lockaby and I are taking a step forward towards creating a Bigger Pockets Meetup here in Asheville, and would love for you to be a part. While there are other investor groups in our area, we think the BP crowd attracts its own flavor of folks, and we want to provide a space for us.

@Nick Mehl, there has been a lot of chatter in the meetups about this. It seems a lot of people are experiencing this same thing, while others are having solid bookings throughout the winter. The general sense I'm getting is that Covid saw a tremendous boost in bookings, and now we are getting back to normal. Folks that brought a STR to market within the last 1 to 3 years are shocked by the slow down of bookings while people that had STR prior to Covid enjoyed the Covid boost, but are not nervous about the current slowdown. Also, it seems that people offering more unique experience or properties are not seeing any slowdown at all (river/creek on property, unique build, hot tub, etc).
This is not area specific, but I've got two STRs in Myrtle Beach and I've not seen any slowdown in bookings at all.
