Building a diversified real estate portfolio using Avestor
Real estate is a great alternative to diversify your investments beyond the stock market. However, while it is easy to build a stock or bond portfolio, it is not that easy to build a balanced and diversified real estate portfolio. A balanced portfolio of residential and commercial investments should include multi-family apartments, retail centers, self-storage, hotels and land development. For most mainstream investors, building a real estate portfolio is very difficult. Finding opportunities, complex deal structures and large minimum capital requirements limit the typical investor from participating in these deals. Key factors that should be considered when constructing a portfolio include diversification, criteria for selecting a deal, maximizing tax benefits and having a stable and smooth cash flow.
