This month, we are thrilled to have Ben Day with Lionshare Bookkeeping speak about "being the bridge" between your CPA and your Banker. Now I know bookkeeping isn't most people's favorite topic, but here's why you NEED to be here. Ben has developed a system to show us how to be the bridge between our tax returns and our bankers. Why is that important? Ben is going to show us how to not have to pay a ton in taxes (I.e. taking all the deductions we can), while also showing an income to continue getting loans to run our businesses buying properties. He is also going to show us how to put a system in place to organize the finance side of our businesses which can lead to huge gains for business growth.

Ben graduated from The University of Oklahoma in 2015 with bachelors degrees in accounting and music. He founded Lionshare Bookkeeping in April 2017. On the music side, he has performed in international festivals and recorded a variety of music genres. He is also an Eagle Scout, Certified Pyrotechnician with the ATF, and Brew Genius.

On Christmas Eve 2016, he found out that his gig as an executive assistant in the music industry had disappeared overnight. Over the next four months, he decided that it was high time to became his own boss. He found a coach, and started Lionshare Bookkeeping. At the recommendation of his dad (who is currently the president of a community bank that largely deals in single family “fix-and-rent” construction loans) he started focusing on solving the accounting and finance issues that landlords and house-flippers run into every day.

Today, Lionshare Bookkeeping serves real estate investors across the country. He also works as a coach and instructor for new bookkeeping businesses inside of bookkeepers.com, and as an investor and hard money broker with Rex Capital Group.
