Disclaimer: BiggerPockets does not support or sponsor any meetups unless otherwise noted. Do your due diligence before attending any events. You may be agreeing to attend an event that includes promotion, pitching, or high-pressure sales tactics or techniques. There may be pitching of products, services or properties at this event!

This wide-ranging webinar will address the following topics -- plus any topics you may want to raise:

  • Maintenance requests. Can minor repairs be postponed? Safety rules: social distancing, gloves, wipes. Have tenants move stuff from the area and/or clean it. Set expectations.
  • Office operations. Have those who can work from home do so. How about video conferencing? Keep maintenance folks out of the office. Wipes and gloves here, too. Sick folks: stay home!
  • Getting properties leased. Online applications and screenings. Let applicants see the property on their own? Or meet and use social distancing? Review lease on the phone, use DocuSign or similar program.
  • Collecting rent. Late fees? Court action? Rent reduction... postponement... forgiveness?
  • And more! Being proactive with tenants via phone or email to evaluate their situation. Section 8 inspections, lease-ups, communications. Evictions: file or wait for moratorium to end?

Don't miss this chance to stay connected with Baltimore REIA and your investor colleagues. Staying in touch (figuratively) could help you stay profitable!
