This meetup is a networking event for anyone living in (or visiting!) Toronto who invests or is interested in investing in real estate anywhere in the US. This is a regular event, usually once per month on the 3rd Monday. No pitching or selling, just a venue to share experiences and resources for those of us actively investing in the US and anyone interested in learning more about investing in US real estate.

This month we have a guest presenter:  Glen Sutherland. Glen is an experienced Canadian investor and host of the "A Canadian Investing in the U.S." podcast and will be presenting on his experiences investing in multiple markets in the US.

Here's the rough agenda:

6:00 - 7:00 Welcome Mingle and general discussion

7:15 - 7:30 Quick Introductions

7:30 - 7:45 Group discussion on How to Research US Markets

7:45 - 8:15 Presentation and follow-up discussion (Buying & Financing Rentals as a Canadian)

8:15 - 9:00+ Mingle / Discussion

Future meetups are generally 2nd Monday of each month. They're planned as follows:
