November 20th, this week we will be joined by Lauren Speidel from Exeter 1031 Exchange services LLC.A 1031 Exchange allows you to indefinitely defer the payment of your Federal and state capital gain and depreciation recapture taxes when you sell real estate and then reinvest in the replacement property. You keep all your money invested and working for you instead of paying taxes. We will be covering the history of Section 1031 as well as the rules and requirements for a successful transaction, the five different 1031 Exchange structures and the importance of choosing the right Qualified Intermediary.
