Home Inspections - The neutral third party assessment of a property's condition. Buyers and sellers alike await the report with trepidation. What flaws will the inspector find? How do they know where to look? And what to look for? Is it normal? Can it be fixed?

This month, Michael Scher will pull back the curtain about inspections (and inspectors). He'll share with us what inspectors look for and how they know where to look. Most importantly he'll share insight into how to think like an inspector.

Join us for networking, discussion and support from other area investors. A great way to start 2019!

Michael Scher is the owner and licensed home inspector of Austin Home Inspection Team. Prior to becoming a home inspector in 2005, Michael worked in the high-tech industry testing software. In the early 2000’s, Michael began researching different careers in which he could be self-employed, financially secure, and able to spend more quality time with his growing family. Michael decided a career as a home inspector would be the ideal fit and began training for and earned his Professional Inspector License.

Attention to detail was a critical part of Michael’s skills as a software tester, and he found home inspecting drew on this same strength. Both homeowners and realtors in Austin, TX depend on the friendly, professional, and thorough home inspections provided by Austin Home Inspection Team.
