FIBI BACKGROUND:

FIBI (For Investors By Investors) is non-profit organization geared toward teaching real estate and financial education without a sales pitch. FIBI provides an environment where investors can learn from other investors, help each other grow and NOT get pitched books, tapes or boot camps. FIBI does not make any money off of the events it curates with 10+ chapters in Southern California. Events feature ample networking and interview style or round table discussions centered on a topic that is critical to successful investing in real estate. 

PANELISTS:

Matt Theriault

Matt is a USMC “Desert Storm” Veteran and accomplished real estate investor and coach. After building his own cash flowing real estate portfolio over the last 5 years, he’s enjoying his financial independence, continues to build his portfolio and has discovered a new passion for creating systems and showing others how to replicate his results. You will find that his approach to real estate investing is conservative, simple, to the point and efficient. Matt credits his success to performing as much, if not more, due diligence on his real estate team as he does the market and properties themselves.

Doug Van Soest & Andrea Van Soest

Doug and Andrea Van Soest have been Real Estate Investors for the past 8 years. Doug is a former certified residential appraiser and Andrea is a licensed realtor. They focus on wholesaling, fix and flip projects, and have collected 57 rentals (and counting) in Southern California. They host a weekly podcast for Investors called Spouses Flipping Houses. They are both very passionate about this business and grateful for time if affords them to spend with their family.

Mercedes Torres

Mercedes Torres is an accomplished real estate investor with a portfolio of 90+ income generating properties. She continues to strategically build her passive income portfolio as Co-Founder of CashFlow Savvy, a turnkey investing company based out of Southern California. CashFlow Savvy focuses on helping other investors to build financial freedom through turnkey real estate.
