Quality Builders is excited to announce another VIRTUAL project walkthrough on Saturday, November 9th, 2024 at 10 AM. We love Chicago zoning, permitting, and renovation questions and are passionate about working with investors on their real estate journey.
Location: Chicago, Illinois | Little Village (neighborhood)
Property Type: Multi Family Property (2 unit)
Project Type: Full Gut Renovation
Financing Type: FHA 203k Loan
Scope of Project: This project involves taking over a previously failed project from an existing general contractor. At the time of takeover, the previous contractor had installed all the framing and some mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, which needed to be redone to pass city inspections.
In addition to providing two brand-new units on the first and second floors, the basement slab has been recently replaced. Prior to the installation of the new concrete slab, new underground plumbing was installed, along with a drain tile system to prevent water intrusion in the future. Avoiding any future water, our client has the option to build out a 3 unit in the basement.
